This is the center of the spiral fountain at Darling Harbor. The young man praying on the center rock was from New York. It was nice to take off our shoes and soak our tired feet for a minute.

This is the outside of the Sydney Opera House as we approached for the Papal arrival.

This is the Pope's boat - see how close it came to our seats and the view we had!!!!

This is the view we had of the Pope on the big screen TV at our site. It was amazing to watch him lead the prayer service in larger-than-life size on the screen. A picture of the Pope driving by us (15 feet away) is forthcoming but we need to download it from a different camera.

Caitlin and Daniel,
Looks as though you are having a great time even with the mishaps that are bound to come your way. Looks as though Lori is teaching you first hand to leave everything in the hands of the Lord. He always brings unexpected good out of unfortunate situations. We are forever thankful for the blog. What great pictures and information. Love You, Grandma & Grandpa A

Hi Lori!
We have been so busy! So many times during the day, I want to pick up the phone and call you, and I can't! :)
We read the blog everyday - Taylor and Grace love reading about your day. Of course, Taylor just found out that you called Grandma! Thanks!- That will be fun explaining. jk
The girls are having fun, and are wiped out by the end of the day. (Swimming everyday does that to you :)
Today, they went to the Dayton Museum of Discovery with camp and then swimming.
Can't wait to read the blog tomorrow! We love the photos!

Love,
KJ, Dave and Brittney

p.s. Do you feel like you are on a diet since you aren't eating much? Grace said she will share her snacks with you. heehee

Hello to all down under,
I am so glad you all are having a wonderful time, I wish I could have taken some time off from the Air Force and joined you on this once and a life time trip!
I am so jealous that you were all so close to the Pope, that must have been amazing!!!
Patrick J, just wanted to let you know that my surgery for my last 2 wisdom teeth was a much better experience that the first 2, wait until you have to get yours removed! Can't wait to talk to you again and I can't wait to see your pictures! Love you and miss you!

Hi everyone...what wonderful updates - it's almost like being there, minus the pain of traveling, missing buses, etc.! I can't wait to see more pictures - as well as all the ones you can't post. We're all thinking of you. Remember to let the Holy Spirit to keep working for you! Anna & Bob

Hello Everyone!
Wanted to let you know that I have been following your trip and praying for you daily. Lori and Erich after reading about your trials all I could think was that it made the good ol' days of SHARING retreats seem so easy! Thank you for always giving of yourselves to our youth! They are blessed to have you (and you them!). Emily J. you are in my thoughts--I am so happy that you are able to have this experience! I want to get together and hear all about it when you get home!

Have a wonderful rest of the journey! May the Holy Spirit continue to guide and and bless you as he has.
Love, Julie Kolde
